Only when your goods are sitting around uncollected, can they be plundered. The release of the mobile version to iPhones is the only reason why I returned back to forge after a break from 2 years. The best advice/information you will probably ever get, is to set your City up so that you can collection your goods/productions at a set time and minimalize the amount if time that your goods are sitting around. I am in high school, and I play Forge during class (without any detriment to my grades) which gives me a lot of times to check if somebody has their goods buildings out and ready. If a person changes their army, I record their changes in the Excel spreadsheet. Anybody that I can't possibly beat within the next 48 hours (their army is way too strong for me to beat) is aided on the next day. I record everybody's defenses into an Excel spreadsheet (sorry, I can't afford Access), and when the cooldown ends for a particular player, I would attack with an army specialized to eliminate their defenses. Usually, what I do is send a scouting brigade (4 artillery and 4 short-ranged units), to check out every single person's defense in my neighborhood if its my first day in my neighborhood, and I will use that scouting brigade to attack anybody with weak enough defenses that result in my scouting brigade to only lose health to a few troops or no damage to my troops at all. You also get a bunch of hate mail, and a bunch of players to troll. In fact, I get so many goods in certain ages that I never have to make my own goods building. Plundering is my way of life, and the rewards are bountiful if one plunders.
